STYLE

My greatest satisfaction is helping people.  My goal when working with buyers and sellers of real estate is to help reduce the stress and confusion that is often a part of a real estate transaction.  I provide as much information as possible so that buyers and sellers are comfortable with the process and can make sound financial decisions for themselves.  My style is detail oriented, yet low key.  I am very patient when its time to be still, yet I can push when its time to move.

SUCCESS

As a Managing Broker, I have been helping buyers and sellers for 15 years.  Seattle Magazine has awarded me the "2011 Five Star Real Estate Agent" award which is only given to the top 7% of Seattle area agents.  I enjoy finding creative ways to help sellers market their homes and get their homes noticed.  With buyers, I especially enjoy the fun of teaching First Time Home Buyer classes and eventually seeing those buyers in the homes of their dreams.  I also work with buyers moving up to their second and third homes, and with investors.  I have had many, many referrals from past customers.

EXPERIENCE

In the 15 years I have been in the real estate business selling properties in the Seattle area, I also have been buying and managing my own rental properties.  My apartments are rarely vacant and I have had the fun of being the buyer’s agent for a few of my tenants and helping them become homeowners.

MUSIC 

Prior to real estate, I spent many years as a professional musical performer.  I have performed throughout the Northwest in cocktail lounges and in concert, and have traveled overseas to places like Berlin and Japan.  Also, I have traveled several times through the Panama Canal and in the Caribbean on sparkling Princess Cruise ships playing the piano and guitar and singing to passengers.  I love to write my own music, which you are hearing here!  This song is called “Diamond Dancer” which is available on my CD called “Something’s Pushin’ Me.”

PERSONAL

I love playing golf, walking around Green Lake, skiing, working in my yard, and volunteering.  I grew up on Mutiny Bay on Whidbey Island - one of the most beautiful spots on the planet.  I have served 6 years on the Board of Directors of the Ballard Chamber of Commerce, am a member of the Rental Housing Association, the United States Tennis Association, the United States Golf Association, and I am a past Sponsor of the Ballard Jazz Festival.
